Meow Cosmetics is
pleased to offer the finest quality mineral cosmetics available to our
clients. While most of this may seem like common sense, we offer
the following information and use recommendations for the purpose of
clarity, truth in labeling and with the hope of providing our
clientele with the best information about our products that we are
able to provide.
Labeling:
All Meow Cosmetics arrive fully labeled with ingredients listed.
Samples do not contain an ingredient listing due to size limitations
of packaging. All ingredient listings can be found on this page
or on our website on individual product pages. If you need
ingredients listings for any product not listed here (newly released
products, discontinued products) please contact us and we will provide
them. Any product that indicates that it : "may
contain" a specific ingredient should be considered to contain
that ingredient for purposes of ingredient sensitivities. Any
individual who feels they may have an allergy or sensitivity to any
ingredient should not use any product that indicates it "may
contain" that ingredient.
Packaging:
All of our products arrive in new, labeled and sealed cosmetic jars.
Most of our jars contain a sifter. Individual product sizes
vary, and may change without notice. Specific sizes for
individual products are listed on each product's item
page. Jar and label designs may change without notice, and
may differ from what is shown on the website.
Sensitivities/Allergies:
Meow Cosmetics manufactures some of the finest, safest, most benign
mineral cosmetics that can be found anywhere. However, it is of
course possible that anyone can be allergic or sensitive to any
ingredient. As a result, anyone with known or suspected
allergies or sensitivities to any ingredients listed here, should not
use any product listed as containing, or possibly containing, that
ingredient. Further if any product we sell contains an
ingredient you have not used before or are unfamiliar with, we
recommend testing the product on a small area first. . We
recommend sampling and testing of all products prior to use and in
particular for any individual with any concerns about ingredient
sensitivities.
Micronized
Minerals/Nano Particles: Meow Cosmetics does not use any
micronized minerals or nano products in any of our mineral cosmetics.
Weights
and Measures: We fill by volume not weight. Actual
product weights listed are approximate as different colors of
individual products may weigh differently (darker shades can sometimes
weigh more, lighter shades can weigh less, for example). The
actual product weight of the product you receive may vary as a result,
from those listed. This is why Meow Cosmetics fills jars
by volume, assuring a full jar filled with loose (not packed) powder at the time it is filled at our
facility. Note that this does not mean your jar will
arrive with powder tightly packed up to the sifter, as some product settling is normal and to
be expected. We do not "tap" jars down when filling as
this would overly compress and pack the powder inside. If you have questions please contact us.
Product
Use and Safety: Please
note that we use only FDA approved ingredients, and all of our
products are sold with the intent that they will be used only on the
areas of the body they were intended for; eyeshadows are only deemed
safe for use on eyes, blush only on cheeks, etc. Use of any Meow
Cosmetics product on any area other than those specified are at your
own risk. Meow Cosmetics cannot be held liable for misuse or
application of any product beyond its intended application. If

Shelf
Life: Most of our products, and most mineral cosmetics
do not have an expiration date. 2 exceptions to this are: Primp
& Preen products containing silk powder are best used within
2 years of purchase, and eyeliner sealer is best used within 1 year
from date of purchase.
Brushes:
Some shedding is normal with a new makeup brush, and should be
expected. Synthetic brushes tend to shed less than natural hair
brushes do. Makeup brushes should be washed thoroughly before
first use and after use, or as needed. If you have questions
about how to do this, feel free to consult our forum or contact us.
Manufacturing/Production/Reselling:
We do not repackage or purchase wholesale minerals for resale.
We do offer some traditional cosmetics (non-mineral products) that we
resell. These are all clearly indicated as such on our
website. If you have questions, please contact us directly.
We
personally formulate and produce in small batches, all of our mineral
cosmetics.
